Who would play you in a film?

What genre would it be..?

Yesterday, me and some friends were discussing this, until in, yet again, turned into Rob and Niki bullying eachother.
The genre I recon would be a quirky comedy/drama.
Niki chose Kat Dennings. She has this thing about her that quite reserved and she only has one main tone to her voice, as in she doesn't whisper or shout and doesn't show any major strong emotions. Infact she doesn't smile much..

Rob had either Mathew Perry or the guy from New Girl who plays schmidt.

I chose Andrew Garfield for Carl (as he was at work as has no say in the matter) My sister has already spoken of a similarity between them in The Amazing Spiderman.

I had a few, people just shouting things out, these are based on a 'who could pull of your personality and mannerisms' then looks. Emma Stone was one, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Mary Elizabeth Winstead? Think these were based on my dorky awkward way of doing things with confidence.

Our friend Merryn was compared to the craziness of Jess in New Girl, but I don't think it fits well enough so we then decided on Miley Cyrus, sounds weird, but it does actually work.

This is a very weird cast....

Who would you be?

OMG...

...I just applied for a course!.....

...I probably shouldn't of done that!

I am very poor atm. But the thought of staying in retail for another year and a half made me want to blow my brains out, especially as I know I had to wait that long!
Carl won't be happy. We had plans to go away to New Zealand but I won't be able to afford both unless I whore myself out.......hmmm......*easy money, quick*.....but it is cold atm and I don't deal with that so well, maybe that's a summer idea.

New plan...think of a new plan. SELL STUFF! SELL EVERYTHING! Not that I really have much I can imagine people would want....? ....except the stuff I want.
Need a full time job somewhere but unfortunately a lot of places aren't hiring full time positions, especially this time of year. I will have to wait for the new year really....Crap!

Haha, well, its done.
I've been told they don't even do the interviews till summer, so by then I'll know if I can afford it or not and I could always postpone my application till the following year I guess.

Think I'm over it! Listening to Fun. We are young - It's all good!

Oh Yeah...BTW...

This site thing I'm trying to do...

If you're bored, check it out. Its just full of stuff. Maybe you'll like it.

Power of love...

...is the song I am listening...has no more importance than that.

(really lush song tho!)

Wow, what an interesting week.
With all good comes bad. Had a lovely Tuesday with B/f (boyfriend) and B/f (bestfriend) ^_^
Full of festive fun. Shopping, coffee, Haskins - a Christmas must, giant inflatable Santa's and stealing donkeys occurs. Then off to the German market bar where we drank mulled wine from a very festive and very red little boot. I do not own a picture of these boots as Niki didn't like her face in the ones that they appeared in, so there for I have to suffer for her vanity.

COFFEE!

TO BETHLEHEM!

There's always one of these photos, the one you're not ready for..but it's ok, Niki looks alright, that's all that matters..

The German market bar, it was night when we went but this is the one...the moose talks in what we could only assume was a German accent, but sounded a bit like a German Jamaican, but was fun none the less.

Well that was nice, then I was back to work and then Thursday came with a boring day at work and ended with some unwelcome news of a family passing. My Nana was a lovely, sweet lady. I do not need or want sympathy so I will be moving swiftly on.
SO ..Friday, as we wanted to beat the Christmas holiday horde of small people, we had booked 3D tickets to 'The Hobbit'. This was a much needed brain escape. Just about managed to squeeze it into my morning as I had work later in the day. I loved it! It was so nice to see Gandalf the Grey again. It was LOTR with a light hearted humour, the dwalves all looked amazing and the set's were beautiful! Plus, Kili is a hot dwalf...not sure how that happens but I'm glad it did, well, actually Thorin a bit nice aswel. Think my mum's got a crush on the actor, Richard Armitage...was it spooks he was is? My mum watches lots of stuff like that, maybe if I keep typing the name's of TV shows relevant to that particular genre then I might eventually nail it, or  could save time by looking it up...yes....yes it was spooks, but always that Robin Hood series, totes forgot about that.

Incase people are unaware of this madness I am speaking, Thorin!

Kili!

Apart from this, I have had a very unproductive weekend full of nothingness and boringness and I have a strange unsettling feeling that this may continue through many weeks to come until I figure out what to do with my life. Which could be a while yet, we're talking months. Although I think I want to go back to education. College is what I'm mainly thinking, but not 100% yet...but as it stands it's either that or stay in retail the rest of my life and considering I have worked an extra 6 years and have a degree, doing so makes me feel like it was all a waste. Good to say I have one, but I refuse to say I did all that to end up doing something I could have done from GCSE's. I want to end up eventually linked to fashion in some way. But who knows....

*Go see The Hobbit*
*Peace*

Ok So...

...Staff parties are ..interesting...

Firstly, why three courses? That is far too much,  can barely eat one these days so by the time I got to my profiteroles the thought of the cream made me want to vom!
Secondly, just because you only have three drinks does not guarantee hangover free mornings. I wasn't even drunk but it got me slowly through the day like a boa constrictor slowly digesting its prey, I thought I had avoided it this morning...I was wrong. It was the tequila, I blame Lewis, he didn't force me but it was his suggestion and therefore my decision was entirely his fault. Mixing your drinks...don't do it!
Before we even got there we were half an hour late and nearly died in the process. Not saying Amelia is a bad driver, more ...fearless. I think it was more Tasha's hysterical screaming that lasted atleast 10minutes after the car nearly hit us that scared me the most, as I hadn't seen the car and was content in the lack of this particular information.

However, it was loud and everyone was drunk, I call that a success, although everyone today wasn't as happy as they were last night, in fact they were very unhappy and tired and some of us (me) and to leave the store to stand outside for fresh air in fear of vomiting is the exact same spot as a small child did yesterday, right in front of the main entrance - brilliant. Apparently, it stank and was very food filled, says Lara on the phone to the cleaners...right by my till....right in my ear....surprisingly enough, come to think of it, that was right before I had to stand outside... coincidence...I think not!

To end this post I thought I would share a funny photo...I don't know what it will be as I haven't found it yet, so it will be a surprise for me too....brb...

Welll....it isn't really funny, more cool...and festive! Which is obviously more important due to the season.

I have also draw a festive picture and I will share it.

Merry monday!

Peace*

Excellent!

Well I am sat on my bed watching LOTR and the most alarming thought came to me....

...I am off to my staff Christmas party tonight wearing a very pale pink outfit from Miss Selfridge and I have ordered only food with spill-able substances. This.Could end. Badly. But I guess 'it's done' as Stewie Griffin would say..(in the episode of Misery)
I tried to find the video of it but err...I failed so there will be no video..Moving on..

I can smell a roast dinner. That's right. I am having two roast dinners today. I'm assuming we won't be eating until about 8 - 8:30 tonight seeing as we don't have to arrive until 7:30 - unless..they're gonna eat without us?
That would be disappointing to say the least.

Anyways back to the shopping event, that I just realised I haven't even mentioned. But that's fine. I didn't get those shoes, not going to go into detail, I got others instead, Red or Dead. And a brand new coat from Primarni - £10 off - fate I think. It's blue and awesome. Its like a boyfriend jacket, nice to add a colour to my wardrobe. ^_^

Hope it's a good cheesy Xmas party. Never been to a staff party before, should be interesting, I can imagine it's going to be like a wedding party, the kind where everyone forgets how to dance and have a drunken, unsure look about them. Although the thought of being able to rip myself from the comfort of my bed first thing tomorrow morning is not worth thinking about.....I can feel my eyelids dropping as we speak...Well, one things for sure, I'm not going to be a happy bunny tomorrow..in fact more like a grumpy git...

Excellent!

The first day of my life

(not my photo)

 ..By Bright eyes..

........is my morning song this morning. It's dark, cold and miserable this morning and waaay too early to be up. But atleast I have my tea, who said there's never a silver lining. Truth is, I have my reasons to be up this early. It's back to the shops time! And I'm not waiting in line with he rest of the world, I'm a busy girl and extremely impatient in confined spaces full of many, many people. I can actually feel the stress even now just thinking about it. Grrr...
Maybe a bit of Daughter - smother will chill me out....Yeah..yeah that's better.
I have reached a dilemma though. Those shoes I put back...I have had too much time to reflect and have now decided there are others I may want instead, so I'll be trying those too. The reason I avoided them initially is that they are ridiculously priced (in my opinion) but I am currently quite poor (hence my shopping in primark) Although saying that, I did shop around as much as I could yesterday and I couldn't really see anything else I wanted. In my opinion, fashion is about expressing yourself, no matter if your clothes cost hundreds or pennies from a charity shop, if you love it and you pull it off then why not!

I also went and had another look at the Samsung Galaxy camera. I really, really, really want it! It's expensive, but totes worth it! My camera is a brick, currently nearly 8 years old or something ridiculous like that...it's...it's just awful. SOoo ..that is something I will be investing in for our trip to New Zealand in September (maybs) I am currently working part time though and are quite steep in my graduate overdraft so saving and doing everything else I wanted to plus bills and rent = getting nowhere. But I am angling for a full time position there so hopefully, fingers crossed, something will become available. I want to end up in a fashion career but it will be hard without a degree in it, although I do have 4 years experience studying it. Maybe not the making side of it but researching and merchandising or buying? Or reviewing? I dunno....

Anyway...bring on the shops!

ahhhh! p.s I was supposed to of posted this about 3 hours ago but I think my internet crashed so it failed - but here it is!

Reviews, reviews, reviews

Keep em' comin'.....

Hmmmm.....well, the time has come. First reviews done. But lots more to do. I may just start out doing a bit of everything, that way my childlike ability of losing interest incredibly quickly after doing the same task for a gargantuous amount of time will hopefully never arise.

- Click link (or copy and paste) if you are interested, if not then I guess....don't.

I had a sad thought just now.....I have yet to see the coke advert! Everyone else seems to of except me and my mother, however, silver lining is that the truck is supposed to be around bmouth on the 20th! They had better play the music or I'm sorry, but it's just not the same!

That's that, now onto the next...

...maybe I'll leave the bathroom for now?

I'm just so lazy....as Bruno Mars would say 'Today I don't feel like doing anything' and considering I have already done quite a bit, this could be pushing it.

Just realised how bizarre the lighting in my room is..?
Anyway, now to relax with a cuppa....

..... in my reindeer slippers....

and onto the reviews...but that means getting off my ass and it's comfortable here....

*Watch this blog for eventual reviews....

WELL....

Just as I thought. Busy - as - hell!
First stop was Primark. It didn't seem all too bad until I saw the queue, to which I immediately thought 'Sod that' and made my way out. However, not before I tried on a big boyfriend style jacket. It was dark blue, which is a whole new thing for me. Colour. I do like a bit of colour, but I am quite pale so bright colour I find over shadows me a bit. I like my desaturated colours, which I guess could also seem to drain my complexion slightly, but I prefer it as an overall look.
I also held back some ankle boots in Schuh by Rocket Dog.
These shoes to be exact:
They look better in reality.

Next step today is to start my reviews. I will probably begin with ......my art books? But we shall see. These reviews will be posted onto my Wordpress and updated and posted through here.
But first things first, Lunchtime! Hmmm...what to eat??..
I have already snacked on some of that new Cadburys Oreo bar, which is lush! mmm..yummy!

Now I should be off to clean the pig sty I call a room!

Good Morning World!

WELCOME  this is my life.

My lush coffee to start the morning, Cappuccino, sprinkled with some chocolate - Just the thing to start a chilly, but yet somehow sunny Saturday

I am about to leave for Bournemouth, the place with the beach at the bottom of England, to choose some Christmas pressie's ....for myself. This is because I am incredibly indecisive and could not think of exactly what I wanted from my rents. This, I believe, is causing my mother some stress so she has sent me on my merry way, with cash in hand, to the shops.
I must admit, I am scared of what's to come. Christmas shopping this close to the day and it's already wuite late this morning, infact so late that it is almost afternoon!

Wish me luck!

Something New..

Blogging is something very new to me (even though I am still quite young). I am determined to get the hang of it!
I will start by introducing myself. I am Anamai, I am a recent graduate but even though I focused on a specific degree, nothing has ever been set in stone. So through blogging I am hoping to focus on all the things I love.
Those things will be: Fashion, Art/ Illustration, Manga/Anime and Books.
