Snowed in....

........wooaahh...

Yeah..so ...here in the UK we have had a downpour of snow. We don't deal with snow too well, especially when we are now wanting Spring to come. We tend to have a whole news channel dedicated to repeating eveything we already knew before the first time they told us.
This meant I couldn't get to work and, if I wasn't so worried about getting paid, I'd have been really happy.....However, making a giant Totoro out of snow with my boyfriend was a silver-lining.

and just to show his scale..

He's Enormous! And seems real when you walk past the window and see him hanging out in the garden planting tree seeds.

The good thing is atleast this didn't happen Wednesday. I went for my interview at Bournemouth college for the Theatre, special effect and media make up/ hair course level 3. Looked good :( but the lady said because of my degree I may not be able to be funded for a course that's a level less than my degree level. But they have accepted me Soo...I wrote to them to beg, just like how I'm going to beg for hours at work. But I want to do the course so I will work for it!

I watched Norwegian Wood movie. Its good. One of those movies you don't get into straight away and don't feel like you will, but next thing you know you've stopped everything you're doing and taking it all in...I think about it a lot now after. It's sad though, so watch out!

Done some more reviews - take a peek ;)

Anime and Manga..

..I have done some more reviews....still more to do though, gonna take a while. I have the books to do aswel.

http://anamaiillustrations.wordpress.com/anime-manga/

There's still quite a few anime movies I want to see but some can be quite pricey.

There's 'The place promised in our early days' By the same people who made '5 centimetres per second'

'Voices of a distant star'  - by the same people again.

These animes are quite expensive on amazon...but they have a new one coming out soon called 'Journey to Agartha'

'Welcome to the space show'  - I have been waiting for this movie since I saw it advertised at the London MCM in October 2011...omg, it was that long ago!

'From up on Poppy Hill' - the new Ghibli film

'Paranoia Agent'  - this was recommended to me by a friend.

These will be my next anime movies to watch!

Long time no type...

....It's been a long time since I blogged...

Kinda vanished over Christmas.
Let's see.....I worked, I worked, caught the flu and worked some more. Yet, for some reason, I am still poor and without money. But nevertheless I shall carry on.
The best thing to do when your down is watch anime, eat chocolate and play games :)
So, I have been doing these things and therefore am going to write some more anime reviews!

Currently, I am watching 'Azumanga Daioh'. Its a slice of life comedy which are pretty much always cute.

It's, basically, about girls that go to school.....that's it really. But it's nice and kinda what I expected.

For Christmas I got an Asian film called 'Norwegian Wood' which I have yet to watch and will be reviewing after. It looks really good, sad, but good and has positive reviews already so I very much look forward to it. My boyfriend always buys me an Asian movie, last time it was 'Solanin' based on a manga by Asano Inio, who is a brilliant storyteller and artist. Its also very sad. He also got me 'Afro Samurai: Murder sessions' which I need to watch so will be doing so in the next few days hopefully.
So...yeah, I'll blog again once I have reviewed a few more things :)

*Peace*

Who would play you in a film?

What genre would it be..?

Yesterday, me and some friends were discussing this, until in, yet again, turned into Rob and Niki bullying eachother.
The genre I recon would be a quirky comedy/drama.
Niki chose Kat Dennings. She has this thing about her that quite reserved and she only has one main tone to her voice, as in she doesn't whisper or shout and doesn't show any major strong emotions. Infact she doesn't smile much..

Rob had either Mathew Perry or the guy from New Girl who plays schmidt.

I chose Andrew Garfield for Carl (as he was at work as has no say in the matter) My sister has already spoken of a similarity between them in The Amazing Spiderman.

I had a few, people just shouting things out, these are based on a 'who could pull of your personality and mannerisms' then looks. Emma Stone was one, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Mary Elizabeth Winstead? Think these were based on my dorky awkward way of doing things with confidence.

Our friend Merryn was compared to the craziness of Jess in New Girl, but I don't think it fits well enough so we then decided on Miley Cyrus, sounds weird, but it does actually work.

This is a very weird cast....

Who would you be?

OMG...

...I just applied for a course!.....

...I probably shouldn't of done that!

I am very poor atm. But the thought of staying in retail for another year and a half made me want to blow my brains out, especially as I know I had to wait that long!
Carl won't be happy. We had plans to go away to New Zealand but I won't be able to afford both unless I whore myself out.......hmmm......*easy money, quick*.....but it is cold atm and I don't deal with that so well, maybe that's a summer idea.

New plan...think of a new plan. SELL STUFF! SELL EVERYTHING! Not that I really have much I can imagine people would want....? ....except the stuff I want.
Need a full time job somewhere but unfortunately a lot of places aren't hiring full time positions, especially this time of year. I will have to wait for the new year really....Crap!

Haha, well, its done.
I've been told they don't even do the interviews till summer, so by then I'll know if I can afford it or not and I could always postpone my application till the following year I guess.

Think I'm over it! Listening to Fun. We are young - It's all good!

Oh Yeah...BTW...

This site thing I'm trying to do...

If you're bored, check it out. Its just full of stuff. Maybe you'll like it.

Power of love...

...is the song I am listening...has no more importance than that.

(really lush song tho!)

Wow, what an interesting week.
With all good comes bad. Had a lovely Tuesday with B/f (boyfriend) and B/f (bestfriend) ^_^
Full of festive fun. Shopping, coffee, Haskins - a Christmas must, giant inflatable Santa's and stealing donkeys occurs. Then off to the German market bar where we drank mulled wine from a very festive and very red little boot. I do not own a picture of these boots as Niki didn't like her face in the ones that they appeared in, so there for I have to suffer for her vanity.

COFFEE!

TO BETHLEHEM!

There's always one of these photos, the one you're not ready for..but it's ok, Niki looks alright, that's all that matters..

The German market bar, it was night when we went but this is the one...the moose talks in what we could only assume was a German accent, but sounded a bit like a German Jamaican, but was fun none the less.

Well that was nice, then I was back to work and then Thursday came with a boring day at work and ended with some unwelcome news of a family passing. My Nana was a lovely, sweet lady. I do not need or want sympathy so I will be moving swiftly on.
SO ..Friday, as we wanted to beat the Christmas holiday horde of small people, we had booked 3D tickets to 'The Hobbit'. This was a much needed brain escape. Just about managed to squeeze it into my morning as I had work later in the day. I loved it! It was so nice to see Gandalf the Grey again. It was LOTR with a light hearted humour, the dwalves all looked amazing and the set's were beautiful! Plus, Kili is a hot dwalf...not sure how that happens but I'm glad it did, well, actually Thorin a bit nice aswel. Think my mum's got a crush on the actor, Richard Armitage...was it spooks he was is? My mum watches lots of stuff like that, maybe if I keep typing the name's of TV shows relevant to that particular genre then I might eventually nail it, or  could save time by looking it up...yes....yes it was spooks, but always that Robin Hood series, totes forgot about that.

Incase people are unaware of this madness I am speaking, Thorin!

Kili!

Apart from this, I have had a very unproductive weekend full of nothingness and boringness and I have a strange unsettling feeling that this may continue through many weeks to come until I figure out what to do with my life. Which could be a while yet, we're talking months. Although I think I want to go back to education. College is what I'm mainly thinking, but not 100% yet...but as it stands it's either that or stay in retail the rest of my life and considering I have worked an extra 6 years and have a degree, doing so makes me feel like it was all a waste. Good to say I have one, but I refuse to say I did all that to end up doing something I could have done from GCSE's. I want to end up eventually linked to fashion in some way. But who knows....

*Go see The Hobbit*
*Peace*
